This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued to identify and obtain feedback from vendors capable of providing a hydraulic brake board for FMCSA’s National Training Center (NTC).
The FMCSA is conducting market research to identify sources who can provide hydraulic brake boards for training purposes.
The primary objective of this contract to obtain a hydraulic brake board to train Safety Investigators and Roadside Inspectors in understanding the functionality of brake systems in commercial motor vehicles (CMV). The contractor shall provide a visual understanding of the hydraulic brake system on large trucks for students taking the North American Standard Part B (NAS B) course.
This Notice is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to directly pay for any information or responses submitted as the result of this Notice. Results of this Market Research maybe used to determine the final acquisition strategy.
