The purpose of this addendum is:
The purpose of this addendum is to answer questions sent to the Purchasing department and
myself from a potential bidder (Zeyco Construction).
Can you please clarify what the "three phases" referenced on the "Bid Package Specifications"
sheet on both the Ward 12 and Ward 1 bid packages are?
The phases are: design, construction, and installation.
Where should dollar values for the bids be put? Bid Form 1 of each project does not have a
place for the bid amount.
There are special instructions for pricing submissions. Please review the RFP pages 2 &3. In
summary, this RFP for Ward 12 Design-Build Smith Hill Wayfinding Signage requires two
separate proposal packages: a Technical Proposal for Qualification and a Professional Cost
Proposal. Technical Proposals must be submitted by 2:15 P.M. at the Department of the City
Clerk, while Professional Cost Proposals must be submitted at the Department of Purchasing
(see addresses in RFP). Both packages require two copies in sealed envelopes labeled
appropriately, with all communications clearly marked. Only forms provided in the solicitation
should be used, and the envelopes must be addressed to the respective departments as
specified.
