Description:
The work to be done under the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Documents, consists of performing, installing, furnishing and supplying all materials, equipment, labor and incidentals necessary for Project Number SOW040224 , titled Turnkey Modular Daycare and carry out all of the duties and obligations imposed upon the Contractor / provider of services.
The main features of the work shall include, but not be limited to the following:
Job Title: Turnkey Modular Daycare Location: Campus āCā Gate Road SCOPE OF WORK: Introduction SUNY Old Westbury University has obtained funding to create a daycare center at a site on campus and seeks a qualifications package for design and install of a Turnkey Modular Daycare of approximately ten thousand square feet. The site location is to be on the campus along āCā Gate Road - Adjacent to our Facilities Service Group. Modular to be located on site in the vicinity of "Building Removed Prior" location on attached site plan. Civil, site, structural foundations and utility design serving the modular unit shall be by others employing the modular unit requirements. Coordination with Site Consultant team shall include provision of schematic drawings and specifications for the modular unit to describe utility needs, structural support, stair, ramp and other pertinent site requirements that shall be approved to campus prior to the offsite modular unit build, such that design and construction of the site can proceed while the modular unit is being built. Shipping, install on prepared foundation, connections to utility and sewer of the modular unit shall be the sole responsibility of Turnkey Modular Daycare provider installer. Required Compliances The Turnkey Modular Daycare shall be designed and installed per the program provided herein and in compliance with all applicable NYS Building and Fire codes, as well as the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design. Compliance is required with NYS Division of Child Care Services application requirements, New York State Child Day Care Regulations 418-1-DCC, NYS Daycare Center Licensing Requirements and accordance to NYS Group Child Care Center Compliance Guide such that a future daycare business would successfully be able to gain approval from NYS to operate. Provide proof of code compliance in all areas and alignment with all NYS Division of Child Care Services regulations and guides mentioned herein. See all noted attached.

SUNY Old Westbury approvals required at the following intervals
SCHEDULE: Following award, contract and insurance approvals the total project schedule is NINE (9) MONTHS . Bidder shall provide phased timeline of design, build and install with millstones for each interval of campus approvals.
