The City of Henderson is calling on all artist to design and create one (1) unique mural for Capriola Park located at the intersection of Via Firenze and Beltrada Avenue in Henderson, Nevada.

The Utility Box is approximately 4’ long, 5’ wide, and 6’ tall (totaling approximately +/- 80 square feet). The painted utility box will enhance the cultural beauty and environment of Capriola Park and support the City’s efforts to make all Henderson Parks and Recreation facilities more welcoming for all.

The mural must encapsulate an environmental theme and complement the adjacent Capriola Park area. The mural should embody the characteristics of the park and/or elements of the surrounding area. This can include nearby landscaping, environmental features, historic elements, or prominent cultural features or landmarks.

One artist will be chosen for the project. Selected artists will have one week to complete the mural and the mural must be completed by no later than June 17th, 2024.

Selected artist/artist teams will be rewarded up to $2,800.00 for the selected mural space. One artist or artist team will be awarded the entire project.
