The scope of this service is to Demolish existing 5000 gallon barrel JP-8 above ground storage tank (AST) (Facility 483), also known at Tank 11. Tank 11 (facility 483) was built in 1958 and is a vertical, welded steel, above ground storage tank (AST) with a floating pan and a concrete ringwall foundation. It has a nominal capacity of 5,000 barrels (bbls), a diameter of 40’-0” and a height of 30’-0”. The tank has been clearned and certified as “gas-free”. During the 2019 floods, the tank was lifted up and flipped on its side. It has been on its sides since this happened and needs to be removed from the site. The tank was certified as vaport free in 2009 and then again in February 2020. Contractor shall leave a clean and orderly site upon the completion of the demolition.
