Park Attendants, Park Custodians, Facilities Cleanup, and Park Attendants/Custodians Services in Support of Various Lake Projects throughout the Kansas City District

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for park
attendant, park custodian (or facilities cleanup), and park attendant/custodian services to support many of the
lakes through the Operations Division. The proposed solicitation number is W912DQ-18-R-1000. This RFP will
result in separate Firm-Fixed-Price contracts to the offerors providing the best value to the
Government.
This project is only open for small business concerns. The associated North American Industry Classification
System (NAICS) code for the park attendant services and park attendant/custodian services is 721211 for quote
mark Recreational Vehicle Parks and Campgrounds quote mark and the associated small business size standard
is $7,500,000.00. The associated NAICS code for the facilities cleanup services and park custodian services is 561720 for quote mark Janitorial Services quote mark and the associated small business size standard is
$18,000,000.00.

Interested vendors may submit offers for one or more areas. The requirements will be available for download on
the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. The details of the type of work and the contract length will be included in the actual solicitation. The total contract duration will differ for each requirement. Some will be for only one (1) year and some will have additional option periods for additional years of service.


At this time, a pre-solicitation conference is not planned for this solicitation. If the Government does elect to hold a pre-solicitation conference, the pre-solicitation announcement will be modified accordingly.
This solicitation will be available on or about 1 NOV 2017 and proposals will be due approximately 30 days
after the date of the solicitation posting. The actual solicitation and any amendments shall establish the official opening and closing date and time.
