REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / SOURCES SOUGHT INQUIRY

The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is seeking information and sources that can provide Preventative Maintenance on a Becton Dickinson Equipment used for rapid ID of Bacteria and Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (AST). The Phoenix system is a fully automated system for the rapid ID of bacteria and antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST). It can analyze up to 100 combination ID and AST panels simultaneously. The BD BACTEC Automated Blood Culture System utilizes fluorescent technology in detecting the growth of organisms in the blood culture bottles. The computers are used in conjunction with these machines, the contractor shall provide all parts, materials, labor, supervision, test equipment, technical manuals, and transportation necessary to perform two preventative maintenance service visits per year and emergent repair service as required on the government owned Becton Dickinson equipment at the George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service, 500 Foothill Drive Salt Lake City, UT 84148. Services shall be required for a base plus two (2) option year period.
