This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE only. This is not a Request for Proposal/Bid/Quotation and neither specifications, nor drawings are available at this time. This request does not obligate the Government in any contract award. The Government will not pay for the provision of any information, nor will it compensate any respondents for the development of such information. Do not submit cost proposals or cost information. Response to this notice is strictly voluntary and will not affect any firm’s ability to submit a proposal if and when a solicitation is issued.

A market survey is being conducted to better understand the competitive landscape as well as determine if there are a reasonable number of interested small business concerns to set this aside for small business. If your firm is a Small Business, certified HUBZone, 8(a), Woman-Owned Small Business, or Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business you are encouraged to respond. All responses from interested and capable sources submitted will be considered.

Scope of the Proposed Acquisition:

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Pittsburgh District is planning a Service procurement for the acquisition of a Solid Waste Removal Services. The work to be performed consists of furnishing all necessary labor, materials, vehicles, tools, supplies and equipment to collect and dispose of rubbish, trash and construction trash at Tionesta Lake 477 Spillway Road Tionesta PA 16353, Tionesta Recreation Area 1206 Beach Rd Tionesta PA 16353, Outflow Recreation Area located adjacent to Tionesta Recreation Area on Elm St Tionesta PA 16353 and Kellettville Recreation Area 979 Kellettville Rd Tionesta, PA 16353.

Interested Sources must provide the following information:

1. Company name, address, and point of contact, with his/her phone number and email address


2. CAGE Code and UEI Number


3. Capability Statement


4. Business size to include any official teaming arrangements as a partnership or joint venture


5. Details of recent, similar projects and state whether you were the Prime or Subcontractor and whether the experience was working with the Government.


6. Project references (including owner with phone number and email address)

Small Businesses are reminded under FAR 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting; they must perform at least 50 percent of the amount paid by the Government for contract performance to subcontractors that are not similarly situated entities. Any work that a similarly situated entity further subcontracts will count towards the prime contractor's 50 percent subcontract amount that cannot be exceeded. When a contract includes both services and supplies, the 50 percent limitation shall apply only to the service portion of the contract.
