The USAFA Cadet Chapel provides for the religious and spiritual needs of USAFA Cadets, military service members, their families, and local community. The 49,960 square foot building is home to expressions of worship for multiple faith traditions, including the six religions which regularly conduct services there. Prior to renovation, the contents of the chapel -- furniture, musical instruments, decorations, historical artifacts, works of art, books, and other items -- need to be packed and transported to storage and stored for approximately six (6) years in secure temperature- and climate-controlled storage. Upon completion of the renovation project, all items will be returned to their respective locations by the contractor and unpacked in preparation for re-opening the building. This requirement is for the packing, moving, storage, and return of the entire chapel inventory, excluding certain items.

The site visit will include a meet and greet and a walk-through of the Chapel. Each item on the Inventory will be viewed. The site visit is expected to last from 8:00AM to 1:00PM. Further details regarding Site Visit reservations and attendance will be included in the solicitation.
