9/8/2017 - Amendment #1 is being posted to update the following information with respect to Solicitation SP4702-17-R-0032:

1. The sign-in sheet from the site visit held on 8/30/2017 is being posted. It is attached to this amendment.

2. The drawings for project CSC-16749, sheets 9 & 10, BLDG 17 have been updated. The updates make changes to the electrical paels referenced in the drawings.

3. Project CSC-16778, sheets 11 - 14, BLDG 9, have not yet been updated. These drawings also need updated to change the electrical panels referenced in the drawings. The same changes that were made to the drawings for BLDG 17 will be made to the drawings for BLDG 9. However, due to time constraints and issues with making
updates to these drawings, vendors are asked to submit proposals for this project as-is.

4. Vendor questions submitted in response to this solicitation are being answered. Below are the questions that were received and the answers to those questions:

Question 1:
Will all conduit have to be PVC coated rigid conduit? The existing conduit doesn't appear to be, but the specs referenced on 26 05 00, Part 2, list multiple types of conduit. I just need to know what they want. I don't see a reason, based on the scope of work, for more than EMT with compression couplings and connectors.

Answer 1:
Disregard the PVC coated rigid conduit. EMT with compression couplings and connectors is acceptable.

Question 2:
You call for the domestic water lines to be re-insulated but there is no sizes shown on the drawings. Can you please provide Domestic Water line sizes?

Answer 2:
The attached PDF titled "BLDG 9 - water line sizes" provides the details for the Domestic Water Line sizes.

There are no further changes made by way of amendment #1 to this solicitation.
