Synopsis of Proposed Contract Action – NF-FM7320-23-01411

EDGEONE, LLC-BUOYLESS/ROPELESS SYSTEMS TO PROVIDE TO POT/TRAP FISHERMEN TO TEST IN COMMERCIAL FISHING OPERATIONS

A determination not to compete this proposed contract action was made pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a). Edgeone, LLC. Is the only known business that can provide identical Deck System, Underwater Acoustic Release Systems and Through-hull transducers Support for existing Edgeone devices owned by the Northeast Fisheries Science Center’s. The Government intends to increase the maximum quantities under existing contract 1305M322CNFFM0030. The existing award was issued on a competitive basis under solicitation 1305M322QNFFM0025, posted April 25, 2022 on SAM.gov.

This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, only one source is reasonably available. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for these item is 334511.

This notice of intent is not a formal solicitation or request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. No award will be made on the basis of quotations or offers received in response to this notice.

Interested parties may submit their interest and capabilities no later than April 11, 2023 at 2:00 pm Eastern Time.
