This is an Agreement in which the Contractor shall design, supply, install and activate a complete automatic Water-Based Fire Protection System (FPS) for the Statewide Medication Distribution Project (SWMD II). The Contractor will be compensated for the services in accordance with the service rates specified on Exhibit B-1, Public Works Rate Sheet; which shall include all labor, design, engineering, equipment parts, devices, materials, programming, tools, installation, supervision, inspection, training, permits, licenses, insurance, bond, transportation, travel and per diem and every other expense necessary to provide services for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), Inmate/Ward Labor Program (IWL) at California State Prison Sacramento, 100 Prison Rd, Represa, CA 95671.

The Contractor shall provide demolition of existing system, new piping and fire protection installation, seismic bracing, pipe markers, valve tags, equipment nameplates, and all other items deemed necessary and in accordance with the Plans and Specifications, including the tie-in to the existing fire sprinkler main. All work identified will be completed in the Medical Distribution Rooms (MDR), Dining Room Area of Housing Unit A1/A2, A3/A4, A5/A6, B3/B4 and B7/B8.
