Bids will be received by the Books County Board of Education (Owner)in the Board of Education Office, located
at 1081 Barwick Road, Quitman, Georgia 31643.
The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Brooks County Board of Education Office located at 1081
Barwick Road, Quitman, Georgia 31643, November 3, 2022 at 11:00a.m. LOCAL TIME.
Bidding documents may be obtained electronically through the office of the architect, James W. Buckley and
Associates, Attention: Teresa Moore, 114 North Green Street, Swainsboro, Georgia 30401, (478) 237-6467. All
bid document request must be emailed to Teresa Moore at tam@jwbuckley.com Additionally, any questions
regarding the bid documents or the bid process should be directed to Eric McDaniel at enm@jwbuckley.com.
This project invoices federal funds. The contractor shall be responsible for all requirements and regulations
relating to minimum wage requirements as administered by the Department of Labor under the Davis-Bacon Act
and related acts.
The contractor and all subcontractors are required to have registered and be authorized to use Federal Work
Authorizations Program “Employment Eligibility Verification (EEV)” in accordance with Georgia law O.C.G.A.
§ 13-10-91 “Illegal Immigration Reform and Enforcement Act of 2011”.
