CONSTRUCTION, ENGINEERING AND INSPECTION
TO ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS:
The following questions were submitted by potential bidders. Our answers are listed
below in red:
Under F. Letter of Interest and Statement of Qualifications, item “i. All
consultants must possess a professional license to practice surveying in
the State of Tennessee.” Is it acceptable if the prime is not licensed to
survey, but includes a Subconsultant who is professionally licensed to
practice surveying in the State of Tennessee?
All prime consultants must possess a professional license to practice
engineering in the state of Tennessee. All consultant teams must possess
a professional license to practice surveying in the State of Tennessee.
There is a conflict regarding the contract term between I. Introduction
which states, “The terms of the contract is three years or the completion of
the project” and, C. Project Time Frame which states, “The terms of this
contract is four years or the completion of the project. Will you please
clarify the number of years of the contract term?
Answer: The contract term is for three (3) years.
Can the Design Consultant perform the CE & I on these projects?
Yes, the design consultant can apply for CE & I on these Resiliency
