Bid Synopsis:

Wisconsin Administrative Code LES 2.01 requires an applicant for a certified law enforcement position be free from any physical, emotional, or mental condition which might adversely affect performance of their duties as a law enforcement officer. The services required of the awarded contract shall ensure agency compliance with the stated administrative code.

Psychological screenings are required for all State Patrol Cadet applicants at the State Patrol Academy, Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. Screenings must occur at the Wisconsin State Patrol Academy, 95 South 10 th Avenue, Fort McCoy, WI 54656.

While there is no guarantee as to the number of candidates to be assessed, the Wisconsin DOT/State Patrol typically hires in the range of 25 ? 50 full-time law enforcement officers per year. Any bids submitted that require the State of Wisconsin to guarantee a specific number of evaluations or a minimum quantity of evaluations may be disqualified.

The awarded contract will also be made available to other State of Wisconsin agencies who hire certified law enforcement positions, including but not limited to, Wisconsin Dept. of Natural Resources, Wisconsin Dept. of Corrections, and Wisconsin Dept. of Administration.
