NO 525 Public Notice YUBA COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT Request For Proposal (RFP) 17-02 YCCD SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC PROJECTS Notice is hereby given that the Governing Board of Yuba Community College District will receive sealed proposals for: RFP NO. 17-02, YCCD SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC PROJECTS To be submitted before: 1:00 pm, October 26th, 2017 attn.: David Willis, District Director of Facilities Planning, Maintenance & Operations, 425 Plumas Blvd., Suite 200, Yuba City, California, 95991. There will be a public bid opening. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope. The sealed envelope shall display the following statement "RFP NO. 17-02 YCCD SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC PROJECTS." The District intends to hire a Solar Photovoltaic Firm to provide creative solutions to increase the solar electricity production at the four (4) College/District locations listed in Section 1.3 of this RFP. Proposers will design, engineer, procure, install, interconnect, commission, and operate and maintain solar photovoltaic systems at each of the sites. Services include but are not limited to thorough filed inspections, inventory, and assessments of existing solar PV array systems, PG&E metering/tariff's/and load profiling, integration with existing solar PV array systems if possible, energy savings analysis, cost savings analysis, total cost of ownership economic analysis, performance guarantee's, and extended full labor and materials warranty of at least 5 years with optional 5 year extensions per the RFP. Copies of RFP documents, including Addenda's (as required) may be obtained only on the YCCD Purchasing website: https://www.yccd.edu/central-services/purchasing/requests-proposals-quotes/ The District will not accept responsibility for delays in receipt of proposals sent by mail or other carriers. It shall be the sole responsibility of each proposer to ensure that their proposal is received before 1:00 p.m. on October 26th, 2017. All proposals received after stated date and time will be rejected. Firms are invited to attend the following Contractor Walk-Throughs: October 9th: 11:00 AM Mandatory Pre-Proposal Walk-Through, Woodland Community College Campus, 2300 E. Gibson Road, Woodland, Ca 95776. First meet at building 100, room 113, then after a brief review of the RFP, we will tour the solar photovoltaic array's. October 9th: 3:00 PM Mandatory Pre-Proposal Walk-Through, Lake County Campus, Building 100 Lobby, 15880 Dam Road Extension, Clear Lake, California, 95422 October 11th: 1:00 PM Mandatory Pre-Proposal Walk-Through, Yuba College main campus meeting at 1:00pm, building 1400 Maintenance Conference Room, East Entrance, address: 2088 North Beale Road, Marysville, California, 95901, review project proposal RFP requirements, then tour the existing Yuba College campus solar photovoltaic systems. Get a parking permit at one of the machines. 3:00 PM Mandatory Pre-Proposal Walk-Through, Sutter Campus, 3301 East Onstott Road, Yuba City, California 95991; meet at the north building entrance lobby area off the north parking lot. Get a parking permit at one of the machines. Although other walk-through times and dates can be arranged, please make every attempt possible to have a representative at the above scheduled Mandatory Pre-Proposal Walk- Through meetings. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any informalities or minor irregularities in the proposal.
