The City of Nashua, Division of Public Works, is seeking bids for purchase and installation of solar powered variable message speed feedback signs on Dublin Avenue in the vicinity of Birch Hill Elementary School. The scheduled work for this project involves the purchase and installation of two variable message speed feedback signs, poles and foundations. The purpose of the project is to remind motorists of their travel speeds, inform them of the schools proximity and to warn them of the presence of pedestrians, especially school children. Bidders on this work are subject to U.S. Department of Labor's Davis Bacon wage rate provisions.
A Non Mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, October 13, 2017, in the Conference Room of the City of Nashua Division of Public Works, 9 Riverside Street, Nashua, NH 03062 followed by a site visit, if requested. You or your representatives are encouraged to attend this meeting if you intend to submit a bid.
