Overview: Bidders will be required to furnish all materials, labor and equipment necessary for the removal and disposal of existing doors and operators; and installation of new overhead doors as indicated on the line items.
Off-site disposal of all demolition debris is required. Costs are to be included in line item bid for each door job.
Garage locations are not tied. Award will be determined by individual garage location. The lowest overall cost for all lines at individual garage location will be awarded all lines for that individual garage.
A performance bond will be required if an individual garage location lines total exceeds $25,000.00.
Any manufacturers’ names, trade names, brand names, or catalog numbers used in the specification are for establishing and describing general performance and quality levels.
The references are not intended to be restrictive, and bids are invited on these and comparable brands or products of any manufacturer.
Responders must include alternate brand specifications for purposes of comparison to approved brands based on the same or higher level of performance.
Make and Model Numbers bid are required on each line item under item attributes.
Photos are included on individual line item under attachments.
All measurements provided are an estimated measurement and successful contractor(s) must field verify all measurements for exact fit prior to ordering.
Project period is to begin upon bid award. All work must be completed no later than May 30, 2021.
Responders to submit with their bids the timeline for project completion if awarded; specifically the materials lead time and lead time for installation once materials have been received. The actual construction schedule will be finalized with successful contractor and project manager after award.
There is no pre-bid meeting scheduled at this time. A site visit is highly recommended to verify dimensions and material specs prior to bidding.
