The Kenton County Airport Board (“KCAB”) is soliciting bids for maintenance and acquisition of Vehicle Movement Area Transmitters (“unit”), otherwise known as VMAT or Squitters, for use at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (“CVG”). KCAB currently operates 120 FDL-978-GTX/E RANGR-G (GTX/E) VMATs in airport authority vehicles. KCAB requires a continued maintenance contract for the current VMAT units as well as a means to acquire newer model VMATs as legacy vehicles are replaced and the older model VMATs begin to fail.
