The Kenton County Airport Board (“KCAB”) is soliciting bids for on-call snow hauling services, at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (“CVG”).KCAB utilizes snow hauling services to transport snow piles from the airfield and ramp areas during winter operations.It is the intention of KCAB to award to a single contractor to manage snow removal at the airport. The selected vendor is at the direction of KCAB and will be assigned specific routes to compliment the airport staff during and following winter events.The bid is presented as an hourly rate. No minimum monetary guarantee for the season is included. KCAB will pay the Contractor a minimum of two (2) hours each time the contract is called to perform such services.

Pursuant to the provisions of KRS 424.260, the Kenton County Airport Board (“KCAB”) will receive
bids for Snow Hauling Services at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Int’l Airport (“CVG”). Bids
will be received no later than August 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. ET. No bids will be accepted after that
time unless such date or time is extended pursuant to an addendum issued by KCAB.
KCAB reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any proposal or bid guaranty, to
reject any or all proposals, to award or refrain from awarding a contract for the work, and to
negotiate with the apparent qualified responsible proposer to such extent as may be beneficial to
Preference for Kentucky resident bidders will be applied in accordance with Kentucky law.
KCAB, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,
42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will
affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged
business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this
invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in
consideration for an award.
