The NYS Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA) is seeking interested sources to supply equipment and materials for rental and/or purchase, including service, parts, and components for equipment as follows for site and ski center development, included but not limited to; whole log chipper, self-contained rock drill, log skidder, track dozer, wheel loader, excavator, skid steer, AWD tractor, on/off road dump truck, alpine trail groomer vehicles with implements, portable electrical/diesel air compressors and generators and associated switching and all other related equipment and materials (culvert, geotextiles, etc) required at Wilmington, North Creek, Lake Placid or Highmount, NY.
The proposed purchases will be procured via Best Values and/or State Contract or other acceptable approved means. ORDA intends to issue a solicitation; however, the results and analysis of the market research will finalize the determination of procurement method. The type of set-aside decision to be issued will depend upon the capabilities of the responses to this synopsis.
The purpose of this synopsis is to maximize practicable competition by gaining knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, to include members of NYS registered Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Women-Owned Businesses Enterprises (WBE) and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOB). These businesses are highly encouraged to participate. ORDA must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsive contractors. ORDA intends to use responses to this Request For Information and appropriate contracting and business processes to complete a solicitation notice.Due Date: 05/31/2019 4:00 PM
