The Olympic Regional Development Authority, (ORDA), by this announcement is making public notification of the Whiteface Mountain Base Lodge 2017 Capital Improvements - Sprinkler Contract as required by Article 4-C of the Economic Development Law.
Work includes the installation of a Fire Sprinkler System in a monumental stairway, fire department connections, fire hose connections and the riser system. All work shall comply with relevant Code.
Estimated value of contract work is $65,000 to $75,000,
The Schedule of Important Dates and Times for the Project shall be as follows:
Notice to Bidders: 28 September 2017
Start of Receipt of Request for Bid Documents: 28 September 2017
Distribution of Plans: On or about 05 October 2017
Pre-Bid Meeting: 09 October 2017 at 9:00 AM at the Project Site, Ticketing Area Level 1A.
End of Questions: 12 October 2017, 4:00 PM, Local Time
End of Request for Bid Documents: 12 October 2017, 4:00 PM, Local Time
Addendum (If Needed): 16 October 2017
Bid Opening: 20 October 2017 at 8:00 AM
Project Completion Date: 15 December 2017 (The Project Documents shall include Project Milestones to ensure work is advancing with other Prime Contracts)
Other scheduling details: Due to Fast-Track Project Schedule and the occupancy challenges of the facility, the contract documents will have restrictions on work in certain areas at certain times. Second shift work may be required to complete some elements of this project.Due Date: 10/20/2017 8:00 AM
