The County of Wayne (Wayne County) is seeking proposals from consultants experienced in ESRI based GIS assessment and implementation to evaluate the County’s current geospatial infrastructure, update a needs assessment county-wide, and deliver an implementation plan that will assist in creating an efficient and effective Enterprise GIS..

The selected consultant will conduct outreach to all of the County’s towns, villages, departments, and agencies. The consultant will assess data availability, software and hardware infrastructure, processes/workflows and supporting documentation, staffing and training, and any other GIS capabilities and deficiencies. The information from outreach shall be aggregated into a formal needs assessment document and a more comprehensive implementation plan. The resulting documentation and information will be used for structuring and developing GIS implementation projects, to be completed independent of this scope of work.
