PROJECT DESCRIPTION The City of La Porte is seeking competitive bids for a partial interior renovation for the City of La Porte Recreation Center. The work will take place at 1322 S. Broadway in La Porte, Texas 77571. The project includes renovation of the lobby, administration offices, aerobics rooms, weight rooms, locker rooms and the corridors connecting them. Electrical, plumbing, telecommunication, security, and audio-visual system renovations will occur only within the limits of the architectural changes unless necessitated by HVAC work that is being done elsewhere in the building. The entire building's HVAC system will be replaced as indicated in the documents. No exterior renovation will be done except for replacement of the existing ramp approach to the main building entrance as indicated in the documents. Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas 77571. Purchasing will act a liaison between the requestor and the departmental representative to seek clarification or supplemental instructions appropriate to the request.
