ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Notice to Contractors
Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 47450 Woodward Avenue,
Pontiac, Michigan 48342, until 2:00 p.m., local time, February 2, 2021, at which time the bids will be
publicly opened and read by the Clerk and the amounts of the bids noted for the:
TREASURY COUNTER IMPROVEMENTS
The project consists of improvements to the existing Treasury Department counters and addition of
temporary plexi-glass dividers for social distancing between staff.
The plans and specifications for this work will be available on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 and may be
examined online through MITN.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held online at 1:30 p.m., local time, Tuesday January 19th. Log-
in information to be provided in addendum #1. Contract requirements and technical specifications will be
discussed in said meeting.
A certified check or a satisfactory surety bid bond for a sum not less than five (5) percent of the amount
of the proposal will be required with each proposal as a guarantee of good faith and same to be subject to
the conditions stipulated in the Instructions to Bidders.
The bidder will be required to comply with Michigan statutory prohibitions against discrimination in
employment and with employment opportunities for City of Pontiac residents.
No proposal once submitted may be withdrawn for at least 90 days after the actual opening of the bids.
The right to accept any proposal, to reject any or all proposals, and to waive defects in proposals, is
reserved by the City.
