Deze methode leent zich om onopvallend, tijdens een rit c.q. reis een meting te doen naar de hieronder omschreven onderzoekaspecten. Het openbaar vervoer in de Vervoerregio is opgedeeld in 4 concessiegebieden: Amstelland-Meerlanden, Amsterdam, Waterland en Zaanstreek.
