This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Notice to collect information about interest and capabilities within the market. Please note, this is not a Request for Proposal or Quotation, and it does not obligate the Government to award a contract.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) will soon solicit for some remodeling services at the White River Junction VA Medical Center campus in White River Junction, VT. The work on campus is to include widening a door frame in one building and installing a new cementitious urethane flooring system in another building s bathroom, with the removal and reinstallation of the fixtures in the bathroom once the floor is complete. The door frame widening is needed so that 50 beds could pass through. The bathroom remodeling, the plumbing fixtures need to be removed and once the floor installed, the fixtures need to be reinstalled back.
The purpose of this notice is acquisition planning, to determine whether an SDVOSB or another socio-economic set-aside is possible. VA will consider SDVOSB & VOSB firms, they shall be certified by https://veterans.certify.sba.gov. Solicitation is anticipated on or about 31 January 2024 using NAICS code 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, size Standard $45Million.
Interested firms shall hold an active SAM registration. Visit www.sam.gov to register.
Magnitude of construction for this project is less than $25,000. Period of performance is 30 days.
