This is a sources sought notice. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this requirement including interested Small Business Sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond.
The New York Army National Guard (NYARNG) intends to issue a solicitation for the procurement of Audiology Services to perform audiology and diagnostic hearing services utilizing their own equipment to include a mobile hearing booth.
The magnitude of this contract is anticipated to provid services to at least 10,200 soldiers per year.
This anticiapted procurement would include but is not necessarily limited to: Providing audiology and diagnostic hearing services throughout New York State (NYS) for the purpose of assessing Soldiers medical readiness. Services include DOEHRS-HC approved audiograms, CAE testing and diagnostic audio testing to include Pure Tone Air and Pure Tone Bone Tests, SPRINT testing, and the Approved Military Operational Hearing Test (MOHT) battery as required. Contractor must be able to provide their own equipment to include a mobile hearing booth to conduct testing and diagnostic services. Contractor must also be licensed in NYS to provide the required services.
All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a quote no later than noon, 12pm, on 30 April 2024. This notification should not exceed five type written pages, must include:
1. A positive statement of intent to quote.
2. A completed and signed Sources Sought Information Request Form.
3. A listing of previous contracts withing the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of services provided, dollar value, contract number, location, and point of contact are to be included.
4. A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel licensed to perform these services in NYS and the type of license they possess that would be used to accomplish the contract.
In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for the adequate competition of this requirement, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
