NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Letterkenny Army Depot intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price contract for the purchase of one (1) each Laser Photonics portable CleanTech HH MLRI-2000 laser ablation system with accessories, dehumidifier/air dryer unit, safety curtains, and spare parts to Laser Photonics located at 1101 North Keller Road, Suite G, Orlando, Florida 32810-5917, CAGE 7EBG2, UEI C1TLM1LG6NE5. The contract will be a one-time procurement. A Purchase Description (PD) and Justification and Approval (J&A) will be provided with the solicitation. The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP). The TDP is proprietary to the original manufacturer Laser Photonics. This will be Freight On Board (FOB) destination to Letterkenny Army Depot. The 2022 North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 333517 – Machine Tool Manufacturing, the size standard is 500 employees, and the product code is 3450 – Machine Tools, Portable. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of the Simplified Acquisition Procedures at 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 13.5. Solicitation number W911N224R0020 will be released on or about 24 April 2024 with a closing date on or about 8 May 2024. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. All interested sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency.
