Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for the manufacture and delivery of PAPI, PK30d, 200-Watt, Incandescent Lamps, NSN 6240-01-570-5976, for the office of the Navigation and Weather Product group, AJW-L700, located at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center within the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The PAPI system is the current standard Visual Glide Slope Indicator (VGSI) consisting of four light boxes arranged perpendicular to the edge of the runway. It projects a pattern of red and white lights that provide visual approach slope information.



The PAPI lamps must be manufactured in accordance with attached FAA Specification FAA-E-2576B. Known manufacturer is Osram Sylvania Inc., P/N 58708 or 64382 HLX-C. The lamps, covered by FAA specification FAA-E-2576B, are to be used for outdoor operation and to meet all lamp requirements of FAA-E2576B, to include sections 3.3.3 and 3.4.



The requirement is for a one (1) year contract with four (4) one-year option periods, with firm-fixed-price pricing arrangements.



The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes and size standards for this effort is



NAICS 335139 Electric Lamp Bulb and Other Lighting Equipment Manufacturing. Size Standard



1,250 Employees.





This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside IAW included AMS Clause 3.6.1- NOTICE TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE (OCT 2019).
