Description
Francis E. Walter Dam is located at 146 Walter Dam Road, White Haven PA 18661. The project is located on the Lehigh River, 77 miles above the confluence with the Delaware River. The reservoir is part of the Lehigh River Flood Control program and is operated and maintained by the US Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District. Congressionally authorized for flood control, this multipurpose project supports various USACE missions including environmental stewardship efforts dedicated to wildlife and habitat improvements.This is a supply contract for an electric utility vehicle to replace an aging diesel-powered John Deere Gator that is no longer capable of completing its required mission.
