This is sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified potential offerors. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued.
The Fayetteville VA Medical Center (VAMC) has a requirement for annual service contract to conduct mandated bacterial water line sampling from dental chairs (to include cavitrons) and analysis, monthly, for the Fayetteville VAMC and Wilmington Health Care Center (WHCC). The Contractor will provide all transportation, shipping, water containers, testing media, tools, specialized equipment, personal protective equipment, labor, supervision, laboratory analysis and technical expertise to accomplish all the tasks detailed below in Specific Requirements related to performing monthly mandated bacterial water line testing and analysis within Dental Suite on Dental Unit Water Lines (DUWLs) for thirteen (13) units/rooms with 5 sample lines per unit. Testing will be quarterly totaling 640 samples per year.
The NAICS code for this procurement is 541380, Testing Laboratories and Services.
Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following: name and address of company, business size (large or small): identify whether or not firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories-8(a), HUBZone, Services Disabled Veteran Owned/Veteran-Owned Small Business; provide a brief description of qualifications and any other pertinent information which demonstrates the ability to meet the above requirement.
Subject line must reflect: Dental Water Testing Services. All responses shall be submitted in writing no later than 10:00 AM EST, Friday, March 29, 2024, to the attention of: Serina Black or serina.black1@va.gov.
