Description

Work consists of performing Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Repair Services for the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic Facilities located on Joint Base Charleston – Weapons Station (JB CHS-WS), South Carolina. Performance shall be in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, instructions, Manufacturer Recommended Maintenance, and Industry Best Practices, as described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) with a dedicated focus on safety and customer service. The following are examples of the dispersion of maintenance and repair work requirements at various locations, but not limited to: Chilled and standard air conditioning unit systems; Air handling systems; Pumps; Electric motors and controllers; Chilled water piping systems; Chilled water system chemical treatment; Adjustable frequency drives; Computer Room Air Conditioning Units (CRAC); Mechanical thermal insulation; HVAC control systems; Electric and gas fired boilers; Dehumidifiers; Steam humidifiers; Exhaust fans; Variable air volume terminals and boxes; Backflow preventers; Electrical distribution equipment; Corrosion control applications; Operation of Direct Digital Controls System (DDC) maintenance, programming and repair, software updates and hardware updates; Service calls; General building and structure deficiencies; Irrigation system maintenance, repair and troubleshooting; Exterior; Escort services for maintenance vendors and Contractor support; Roll-up door services and repairs; Programmable Logic Control (PLC) Systems; and maintenance of all wooden pedestrian bridges and walkways.



Site Visit Information: Prior to submission of proposals, parties interested in responding to this RFP are highly encouraged to attend the SITE VISIT CURRENTLY SCHEDULED FOR 19 March 2024 at 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. No other Site Visit opportunities will be available. Attendees are limited to two (2) personnel per firm. Registrants shall submit company name, contact information, name of attendees via email to both Brandy Stroud (brandy.stroud@us.af.mil) and Lane Anderson (lane.r.anderson.civ@us.navy.mil) no later than 15 March 2024 by Close of Business. Upon registration, Vendors will receive detailed instructions for the Site Visit.



Request for Information (RFI): Questions received, in writing, and subsequent answers will be posted to Sam.gov. Offerors are encouraged to submit in writing all questions and requests for clarifications no later than noon Eastern Standard Time, 22 March 2024. The decision whether to respond to questions and requests for clarification made after noon EST, 22 March 2024 shall be at the sole discretion of the contracting officer. Failure of a prospective offeror to submit any questions will be construed to mean that the prospective offeror fully understands all requirements of the solicitation.
