The Hammerhead & Flintstone Marking and Cruising Contract includes Marking and Cruising of 253.7 acres in northern hardwoods
timber on the Medford-Park Falls Ranger District of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest in Price County Wisconsin. The
Hammerhead units are located off of Forest Road 131A, Township 38 North, Range 3 East, Sections 14, 22, and 23. The Flintstone
units are located off of FR 130, Township 37 N, Range 3 East, Section 12. Contractors are required to be Forest Service certified, or
have in their employment, a certified person before bidding on a contract that includes volume determination. Certification from the
Chequamegon-Nicolet or the Ottawa National Forests will be accepted. Proof of certification will be required. The Contractor shall
furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, instruments, supplies, transportation, professional services and supervision, except
that which is designated as Government-furnished property.
Potential contractors are urged to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all
general and local conditions that may affect the costs of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably
obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
