Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on other than a full and open competition basis the following items: FTIR Spectrometer, support and training package.

This requirement is sole sourced to Thermo Electron North America, LLC., 5225 Verona Road, Madison WI 53711. This is sole sourced as these items are being procured as a bundle on GSA Schedule #47QSWA21D0055 including some open market items, to include training, and support.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, which shall be considered by the agency. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, or reliability of the product without causing programmatic hardship. Respond to Yvonne Stockwell, by email to yvonne.c.stockwell.civ@us.navy.mil.

Going forward, all new entities registering in GSA's System for Award Management (SAM), as well as existing registrations being updated or renewed, will require the submission of an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized Entity Administrator for the entity associated with the Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number before the registration will be activated. It is recommended that all interested parties be aware that processing this additional information may take several days and are proactive in maintaining the SAM registrations in an 'Active' status as the government cannot award to an entity without an 'Active' SAM registration. More information can be found at www.gsa.gov/samupdate.

Contractors must be certified through Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) in order to access Controlled Unclassified Information within Contract Opportunities. See the DLIS website for registration details: https://public.logisticsinformationservice.dla.mil/jcp/search.aspx.
