The Department of Veterans Affairs Bath VAMC intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source open market action

The objective of this action is the procurement for:
The Bath VAMC Police Department is in need of one (1) brand name only 2024 John Deere Gator XUV835R for use on the facility to assist with the workload of the department. The current utility vehicle that was used by the police department has been deemed as scrap based on the engineering review of it being unrepairable.
The VA is choosing to:
Statutory Authority Permitting Other than Full and Open Competition: 41 USC §3304(a)(5), 38 U.S. Code § 8127(c), as implemented by FAR 6.302-5 (Authorized or Required by Statute). COs may use the non-competitive (sole source) procedures authorized in VAAR 819.7008 (DEVIATION) or VAAR 819.7009 (DEVIATION) to a verified SDVOSB.
