RFI: DFAS Small Business Expo FY 23

DFAS is hosting a virtual Small Business Expo for HUBZone vendors on 1 November 2023.

The date of submission for RFI/ White Papers (use cases) responses is extended to 21 September 2023.

The objective of the DFAS Small Business Expo is for senior leaders to conduct market research with industry. DFAS is seeking HUBZone speakers/presentations of successful performance in areas related to the DFAS mission (below). Currently coordinating guest speakers from SBA and DoD addressing HUBZone efforts.

DFAS mission: DFAS pays all DoD military and civilian personnel, retirees, and annuitants, as well as major DoD contractors and vendors. DFAS also supports customers outside the DoD in support of electronic government initiatives. As one of the world’s largest finance and accounting operations, DFAS supports military and civilian customers. Our mission emphasizes the importance of DFAS’ role as a primary contributor in standardizing and improving finance and accounting activities across the DoD.

DFAS is seeking white papers from interested vendors providing successful use case examples that relate to the DFAS mission. After receipt of white papers, DFAS will review and invite selected vendors to showcase their solutions and capabilities during the DFAS Small Business Expo. Logistical details related to the Expo will be provided to the invitees.

Note: DFAS does not award construction contracts.

The ideal white paper will include a verifiable experience and expertise statement, and that statement should include recent and relevant contracts (last 3 years), including customer, contract number (if DoD), dollar value, period of performance, and scope of the work. Please limit white papers to three pages and mark each page with “Proprietary Information. Do not disclose.”
