Amendment to Sources Sought titled “Washer and Dryer Maintenance Repair” posted to Contract Opportunities on 11 October 2023. Upon on further market research, it is determined that the requirement for washer and clothes dryer repair and maintenance services will be a socio-economic set-aside for Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB). The applicable NAICS is 811412 – Washer and Clothes Dryer Repair and Maintenance Services, the size standard is $19 million. This also serves as a reminder that interested small businesses must be certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) as “Women-Owned Small Business” in the applicable NAICS. A concern is not eligible for a set-aside under WOSB program unless designated as either an EDWOSB or WOSB in the Dynamic Small Business Search (DSBS). The following site will provide information to start the certification process.

This is not an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, or a confirmation that the Government will contract for the items contained in the RFI, nor is any commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract implied.

Responses to this notice will assist the government in identifying potential sources in determining if a set aside of the solicitations appropriate, and in determining whether this approach to securing contracting support is practicable.

Respondents are advised that the government will not pay for any information on administrative cost incurred in response to this RFI. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Please note that the solicitation number used for this source sought may be different from the one in the actual solicitation, if a solicitation materializes.

The Base Property Operations Branch, Marine Corps Installations East, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC has a requirement for washer and clothes dryer repair and maintenance services to be provide aboard Camp Lejeune. Minor repair (done from the front of the machine, knob replacement, lent catch replacement, etc.) and major repair (requires unbolting and moving washers or dryers, such as bearings, drums, cabinets, pumps, motors, switches, circuit boards, temperature sensors, control panels, timers, agitators, and all other common components). Maintenance services will include vent and duct cleaning, etc. Relocate and/or install machines from one building to another or remove machines from the premise, as required.

The applicable NAICS code is 811412 – Washer and Clothes Dryer Repair and Maintenance Services, the size standard in millions of dollars is $19.0.

Interested vendors shall provide the following information:

(1) Company name, address, point of contact name, phone number, and email address.

(2) Cage Code, Cage code must be registered in SAM.Gov (https://www.sam.gov)

(3) Business Size under NAICS 811412

(4) If the size standard is small, indicate if your firm is certified under Section 8 (a) of the Small Business Act, HUBZone, certified, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business or Small Business.

(5) Are the services available under a GSA/FSS contract? IF so, please provide your GSA schedule number.

(6) Have these services been acquired by any government agencies? If so, please provide names of agencies, POC’s and contract number.

(7) Include any other supporting documents.
