Pre-Solicitation
The Durham VAMC is seeking a contractor to troubleshoot and repair VRF Heating and air system. The Contractor shall provide all transportation, materials, parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision, quality control, and technical expertise to troubleshoot and repair VRF heating and cooling HVAC system. This is a turn-key request with the Contractor providing all the parts and performing all the work as stated below:
Troubleshoot and repair LG Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) heating and cooling system throughout Hospice and specifically room N1144.
Remove and replace ECM motor (EAU37067106) and communication circuit boards (motor board EBR72059609 and communication board EBR80820301) serving room N1144. Program and bring online.
Need entire VRF system tuned and commissioned.
A request for Quote (RFQ) 36C24624Q0763 will be issued on or about April 29, 2024. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is May 13, 2024, through July 13, 2024. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 333415 Air-Conditioning and Warm Air Heating equipment and commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing Size Standard of 1,250 Employees. The solicitation issued will be 100% Small Business (SB) Set-Aside. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
