Amendment 0002:



The purpose of this amendment is to post the Questions and Answers from the Site Visit on 11 Dec 2023 on JB Charleston Airfield Parking Ramp.



Amendment 0001:



The purpose of this Amendment is to replace the Specifications and Submittal Register with revised editions. Additionally, the FAR Clause 52.211-12 Liquidated Damages-Construction has been updated with a new Liquidated Damages total of $1688.00 for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted.



The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to complete the Repair Airfield Parking Ramp Phase II, project DKFX 1093394 for 9 aircraft parking spaces at Joint Base Charleston, SC.



The project consist of construction contract administration (Critical Path Method Scheduling,

submittal management and closeout), multi-discipline efforts involving work on a secure Airfield. Additionally, performance includes multi-discipline efforts involving mill and overlay of pavement, concrete work, striping, joint sealing, and incidental related work that are similar or greater in scope, magnitude, and complexity than the effort described in this solicitation (Airfield Paving).

Last, show ability to provide a workforce capable of gaining clearance onto a secure flight line.



An Amendment will be forthcoming after the revised Division 1 Specifications (Attach 2) and Submittal register (Attach 6) have been received from the Designer of Record.
