8(a) Sole Source Award to AACON General Contractors.



Description of Work: In general, the work shall consist of the following:





The Renovation and Rehabilitation of the Memorial Chapel at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetary

located in St. Louis, MO and related work including site work. The work includes replacement of the

roof and roof drainage; replacement of roof skylight; replacement of siding; replacement of exterior

doors with more historically appropriate materials; restoration of interior finishes; electrical work to

include removal of outdated equipment and new work; installation of new HVAC system; renovation of

bathrooms; limited site work including removal of astroturf.



Specialty Work: Requires strict adherence to the Secretary of Interior’s Standard for the Treatment of

Historic Properties, specifically:
