Description

  1. Project Summary

    1. Fell 4 trees within the Forest Service Campgrounds Falls Creek and Willaby in Quinault, Washington.

      1. 1 tree to be felled in Falls Creek Campground, Western Red Cedar, 70.0 Inches DBH (Diameter at Breast Height)

      2. 3 trees to be felled in Willaby Campground, 1 Douglas Fir, 100.0 Inches DBH, 2 Western Red Cedars 80.0 Inches DBH, 70.0 Inches DBH

      3. Trees will be marked with either tape or paint prior to felling.

      4. Buck trees into sections, maximizing lengths of 17 to 40 feet for trees that will be transported as usable material.

      5. Contractor shall be Licensed and Bonded for this type of project.



    2. Load and transport of usable material from 4 trees within the Forest Service Campgrounds Falls Creek and Willaby in Quinault, Washington to Taholah, Washington. Usable lengths will be determined onsite by the Quinault Indian Nation.

      1. 2 trees to be transported from Falls Creek Campground, Western Red Cedars 80.0 Inches DBH, 70.0 Inches DBH

      2. 2 trees to be transported from Willaby Campground, Western Red Cedars 80.0 Inches DBH, 70.0 Inches DBH



    3. Clean up of debris from felling of trees which has been deemed unusable by the Quinault Indian Nation.
