A1: Military platforms including ground vehicles, amphibious vehicles and maritime vessels.



Q2: The type of information being displayed? DVE aid, Engine Data, etc.



A2: GUI/camera for a remote weapon system and camera views for situational awareness cameras.



Q3: Are these safety-critical displays? Any design assurance levels?



A3: No, these are not safety-critical displays.

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey on behalf of the Product Director Crew Served Weapons (PdD CSW), located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, is seeking information about Ruggedized Standalone High-Definition Displays that are currently available and meet the following criteria:




  • Video Inputs: DisplayPort, HDMI, RS170 and/or DVI

  • 1280x960 pixels or greater

  • Screen display size (diagonal): primary interest 10 to 17 inches

  • Standalone: Not requiring any separate modules to function (example: processor modules)

  • Ruggedized for use in military environmental conditions: including operating temperature -50 degrees Fahrenheit to 140 degrees Fahrenheit and MIL-STD-1275 compliant.







Potential sources are requested to submit the following information. Information papers can be submitted in a white paper format and/or a technical specifications datasheet. Responses should be limited to no more than 10 pages.





Ruggedized Standalone High-Definition Display Description: Provide the description of the Ruggedized Standalone High-Definition Display.





Characteristics:

    • Specify connector locations (i.e. rear, side, bottom)
