DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This project performs reconstructs 3 campgrounds of the west zone of the Payette National Forest. Work includes road improvements, campground realignments, replacing site furnishings, toilet installation, fence replacement, installing horse corrals, well replacement and all related work.

Location:

The project is located at 3 campgrounds in the Council District of the Payette National Forest: Huckleberry Campground, Cabin Creek Campground North and Cabin Creek Campground South (previously known as Horse Cabin Flat). The Cabin Creek campgrounds are located off of the Middle Fork Weiser River Road approximately 20 miles SE of Council, ID (S8,T15N,R1E 44.6550, -116.2733E)

The Huckleberry Campground is located off of Forest Road 50110 approximately 4 miles east of Bear, ID (S8,T20N,R2W 45.0840N, -116.6157E)

Contract Time:

The base of the bid begins on the effective date of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and runs through October 31, 2024. Estimated time of work is August 1, 2023 to October 31, 2024. Cabin Creek Campground North will be closed to the public during construction.

Optional Items 1 and 2 in the contract begin on June 15, 2024 and run through October 31, 2024. Cabin Creek Campground South will be closed to the public during construction.

Optional Items 3 and 5 begin on the effective date of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and run through October 31, 2024. The contractor shall choose to one 30-day work window within those dates and the campground we be closed for those 30 days.

Optional Item 4 begins on the effective date of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and runs through October 31, 2024. Estimated time of work is June 15, 2023 to October 31, 2024. Huckleberry CG will not be closed during this work.

The magnitude of proposed project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.

The complete solicitation package will be attached and made available only through SAM.gov, https://sam.gov/content/home on or within 15 days of this notice. Anyone wishing to participate in this proposed procurement must obtain their copy from SAM.gov. Copies will not be mailed from the Contracting Office. All amendments will be posted on SAM.gov. Contractors will be solely responsible for obtaining amendments from this site to update files.

This requirement is being solicited as a Small Business set-aside, with the intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract. A single award will be made from the solicitation.

All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at http:www.sam/gov/ before award of contract; failure to register in the SAM database may cause your firm to be ineligible for the award and removed from consideration.
