Naval Special Warfare Basic Training Command (NSWBTC) is an Echelon 4 training Command that falls under NSW Center (NSWCEN). NSWBTC is a Department of the Navy (OPNAV) and Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) approved Class A School where Navy recruits complete assessment, selection and training in order to obtain officer/enlisted Sea, Air and Land (SEAL) and Special Warfare Combatant Crewman (SWCC) Officer and Enlisted Warfare Designation. The purpose of this action is to procure pool covers, and associated storage reels, in order reduce heat loss and water evaporation in the assistance with temperature regulation. The candidates spend long durations within the CTT and the temperature, ability to maintain heated temperature levels is a critical safety and risk mitigation aspect to the candidate’s ability to perform required tasks physically and cognitively during water evolutions.
