THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION (NRC) is issuing this Sources Sought Synopsis as a means of conducting market research to determine the availability of potential qualified vendors with the technical capability to provide all management, supervision, administration, and labor for the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Specific activities include providing assessment, counseling, short-term problem solving, and consultation services for NRC employees and immediate family members who are experiencing personal problems which may be affecting the employee’s ability to function or perform well on the job, and/or may be experiencing work performance and conduct changes due to personal problems. EAP services also include providing financial, legal and work-life referral services to NRC employees and family members at various locations across the country where they may work or reside which include NRC Headquarters in Rockville, MD; King of Prussia, PA (Region 1); Atlanta, GA (Region 2); Chicago, IL (Region 3); Arlington, TX (Region 4); and Chattanooga, TN (Technical Training Center [TTC]). Work-life referral services shall include, but not be limited to, finding child or elder care, planning for college, relocating to a new city, finding pet care, purchasing a car, and home repair.
