1. Attachment 2 – Grounds Maintenance

a. Added: “In accordance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) C-2.5.a, limbs up to 6" in diameter shall be policed prior to mowing.”

b. Added: “The area to be trimmed shall be prepped similar to areas to be mowed in accordance with PWS C-2.5.a. Trimming shall be performed in accordance with PWS C-2.5 c-g.”

c. Added: “Deviation from PWS C-2.5f. Use of pesticides in lieu of trimming eventing grass growth on sidewalks, parking areas and road edges is NOT permitted at Connemaugh River Lake.”

d. Added: “Deviation from PWS C-2.7.b. The knotweed on the Abutment at site 2b need only be knocked down, not removed.”

5. Technical inquiries and questions may be submitted via ProjNet until 0800 ET on Monday 5 February 2024. Instructions were provided in the original solicitation package posted to the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment Solicitation module (PIEE-SOL) and the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) as well as the Addendum to 52.212-1 incorpated by full text with this amendment.

The U.S Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District (LRP), has a requirement for a commercial services contract for Building and Grounds (B&G) Services at Conemaugh River Lake. The contractor is required to furnish all necessary supervision, labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, fuel, and transportation/vehicles necessary to perform the required services. Services include grounds maintenance, cleaning services, solid waste removal, and raw sewage and sludge removal.

This procurement is Set-Aside 100% for Small Businesses. The NAICS Code is 561730, Landscaping Services, and the Small Business Size Standard is $9.5M. The Period of Performance is 1 May 2024 to 30 April 2025, with four (4) discretionary one (1) year option periods. The total contract term including the exercise of any options, will not exceed 5 years 6 months.
