NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

This is not a request for quote; this is a notice of the Department of Energy Savannah River Site – Aiken’s intent to award a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to Escal Institute of Advanced Technologies, Inc., dba SANS Institute (SANS) pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Items purchased will be;

SANS (Systems Administration, Audit, Network, and Security) Training Vouchers

• Provide a training voucher (may be used for entirety of the SANS training catalogue)


• Vouchers will be useable vie in-person or distance learning


• Provide qualified instructors to facilitate at least 1 annual training event at Government facilities in Aiken, SC.

The requested products are proprietary to/for the Escal Institute of Advanced Technologies, Inc. The NAICS is 611430, Professional and Management Development Training, with Size Standard $15.0M.

This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, interested parties may identify their interests and capability statement to Iman Dillard at iman.dillard@srs.gov.

All responsible sources may submit a quotation and technical capabilities, which, if received within 15 calendar days of publication of this notice, shall be considered by the DOE-SRS. A determination by the Government not to compete the contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
