Description: THIS IS A SYNOPSIS NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or request for quote or proposal and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. NOAA Ship PISCES is tentatively scheduled for a Dry Docking and ship repair availability beginning approximately December 4, 2023 and ending approximately March 2, 2024, with a performance period of approximately 90 days. The NOAA Ship PISCES is 208.6 feet long overall, and the ship’s homeport for the purpose of this solicitation is Pascagoula, MS. The purpose of this notice is to inform all potential offerors that the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Acquisition Division (EAD) will be releasing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) on or about July 25, 2023. c. Upon issuance, the solicitation and supporting documentation will be posted and can be found on SAM.gov website (https://sam.gov/). The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract to the contractor whose quote represents the best value considering price and non-price factors. All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM and provide their Unique Entity ID (UEI).
