Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for a Firm-Fixed-Price, IndefiniteDelivery Indefinite-Quantity contract for the collection, transportation and disposal of Hazardous Waste. The requirement includes the labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, waste containers, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide the hazardous waste disposal services (routine and emergency) in support of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane), Crane Army Ammunition Activity (CAAA), Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Crane Division, Naval Support Activity Crane (NSA Crane), and Glendora Lake Hydro-Acoustic Test Facility.



This support encompasses Collection, Transportation, Disposal and Management of Hazardous Waste,



Non-Regulated Waste, Special Wastes (excluding explosive hazardous waste), Chemical Refuse and Recycling of Universal Waste items generated, and to perform Hazardous Waste duties including, labeling, tank and pit cleaning, and incidental (emergency) related work.



The Hazardous Waste Disposal Program has been initiated to ensure compliance of all applicable laws and regulations and to ensure the safety and health of the workforce and surrounding communities. The work shall be performed at various locations on Naval Support Activity (NSA) Crane, Indiana in support of NSA Crane and all tenants on the installation. The installation is an industrial operation with approximately 64,000 acres of woods, grassland, and industrial areas with 412 miles of roadway and 100 miles of rail surrounded by Martin, Daviess, Greene, and Lawrence Counties in Southern Indiana.

This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR Part 13.5. The Government intends to solicit as a 100% set aside for Small Business in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.203.
